The e 965 is a handheld large-diaphragm true condenser microphone. The e 965 combines the sensitivity and clarity of a studio condenser microphone with the durability of a dynamic microphone so you can sound your best on stage. Because condensers are more sensitive, they also pick up unwanted sound from all around you. That's why this mic comes with a switchable polar pattern for when performing in a noisy venue, just switch your mic into supercardioid mode for the most off-axis rejection possible. A low-cut filter switch allows you more control of the room by reducing low-end ambient noise, like fans and air conditioners, and a -10 dB pad is provided for those that have powerful voices and could use a little less sensitivity to prevent the mic from clipping when they're at their loudest. An integrated shock mount decouples the capsule from the microphone's body, which significantly decreases handling noise when moving around on stage.
