The CL7a features a 1.1” gold-sputtered capsule with a 3-micron ultra-thin diaphragm that faithfully reproduces various sound sources, including vocals, acoustic instruments, and drums. The CL7a is excellent for recording music and for use as a broadcast microphone. The extended frequency and fast transient response ensure an accurate reproduction with linear characteristics from bottom to top.
