The Cloudlifter is excellent for live stage musicians as well as for podcasters and creators, and professional studios as well. It is great for when using long cables, ensuring that the signal shouldn't get lost. It adds a fixed 25 dB gain boost to the signal before it enters the preamp. This helps that you shouldn't need to crank up the gain on the preamp when using low-output mics like dynamics and ribbons.
